Oxlife Independence Warranty Information

Ever since O2-Concepts released the Oxlife Independence portable oxygen concentrator it has become one of the most popular continuous flow portable oxygen machines on the market.

The versatile concentrator is FAA approved and offers both continuous and pulse flow modes. In the past, the Oxlife Independence came with a 3 year limited warranty.

O2-Concepts has announced, effective immediately, all brand new Oxlife Independence portable oxygen concentrators will come with a 5 year warranty!

This warranty extension is for new purchases only. O2-Concepts is not extending the warranty on concentrators purchased prior to their announcement.

SeQual eQuinox Specs and Features

We have been watching the progress of the SeQual eQuinox portable oxygen concentrator for quite sometime.

In October of 2012, the eQuniox gained FDA (Food and Drug Administration) approval and earlier this month it gained FAA (Federal Aviation Association) approval.

Although we do not have an exact release date, we are anticipating the SeQual eQuinox to be released late March or early April of this year.

This concentrator is going to be the ideal continuous flow portable oxygen concentrator for oxygen patients requiring a continuous flow.

SeQual Equinox is Now FAA Approved

Here at 1st Class Medical, we have been watching the progression of SeQual's newest portable oxygen concentrator, the Equinox.

For those of you who do not know about the SeQual Equinox, it is estimated to weigh 14 pounds; making it the smallest continuous flow portable oxygen concentrator offering up to 3 LPM. The other portable concentrators that provide up to 3 LPM weigh between 18 and 20 pounds.

New Risks of Smoking

Although it may be hard to believe, the surgeon general released a new report which found that smoking and second hand smoke are much worse than we thought. The report, which was published 50 years after the first surgeon general report on smoking, shed some light on new ways smoking harms people. COPD, lung cancer, heart attack, and stroke are just four major health conditions that can be caused by smoking. 50 years after the original surgeon general report and there are more diseases and health conditions to add to that list.
