Every year more people die of lung cancer than of breast, colon and prostate cancers combined. Lung cancer mainly occurs in older people with about 2 out of every 3 people diagnosed being 65 years or older. Estimates from the American Cancer Society show that in 2017, for lung cancer in the United States there are;

  • About 222, 500 new cases of lung cancer.
