SeQual eQuinox: The Lightest Continuous Flow POC in Its Class

When looking at most standard portable oxygen concentrators that offer both pulse and continuous flow oxygen settings, they are usually a little heavier than patients would like. Chart Industries wanted to separate themselves from the competition, and they were successful! The SeQual eQuinox delivers both oxygen flow settings while only weighing 14 pounds with the standard 12 cell battery attached. When on pulse flow setting the eQuinox goes up to a setting of 9 (16mL - 192mL), when continuous flow is selected the eQuinox offers settings between 0.5 - 3.0 LPM. The SeQual eQuinox is the lightest continuous flow portable oxygen concentrator that offers a continuous flow of 3 LPM. Patients can even enjoy increased mobility with the help of the included wheeled traveling cart, simply attach the cart to the eQuinox and enjoy! For maximum comfort the traveling cart has a telescoping handle that adjusts to any patients comfortable height. The eQuinox can go where you go, no matter if it's on plane, train, cruise, or car trip, there will always be space for the eQuinox! This is simply possible due to the petite dimensions of the machine, which are 13.6" H x 10.6" W x 7.4" D.

Most Intriguing eQuinox Specs:

  • FAA Approved
  • 24/7 use
  • Multi-Voice interface, making the user experience as easy as ever
  • Weighs only 14 Lbs w/ 12 cell battery
  • Continuous Flow: 0.5 - 3.0 LPM

Multi-Voice Interface for the Hearing Impaired

The Multi-Voice interface built into the eQuinox is truly a one of a kind! Every time a button is pushed or a functionality is changed the SeQual eQuinox will announce those changes in real time. When you adjust the flow rate up or down the unit will tell you your flow rate. The unit will even tell you when a power source has been changed, the battery is low, or even when maintenance is required. The world is an extremely divers place, which is why the voice interface knows 8 different languages. The voice interface is ideal for oxygen patients who have a hard time seeing because with 10 volume options patients can find a level that suits their hearing needs!

Top of the Line Features

The SeQual eQuinox comes standard with features that some portable oxygen concentrators can only dream of, one of those features being the ability to be used in congruence with CPAP and BiPAP devices. Another incredible feature in the SeQual eQuinox is its ability to accurately dose patients during times of rest, exercise, sleep, and at altitude. This is made possible by the Auto Stat Technology, which automatically adjusts to your breath rate no matter the amount or lack of physical activity.

Never go without Medical Grade Oxygen

When using the SeQual eQuinox with the standard 12 cell battery expect to receive up to 2.7 hours on a pulse setting of 2 (32mL), and up to 1.2 hours on a continuous setting of 2 LPM. Need more battery life? Well the eQuinox has the option of  a 24 cell battery that will extend the life of the concentrator up to 5.9 hours on pulse setting of 2 (32mL), and extending the continuous setting of 2 up to 2.75 hours.

Power no Matter Where you Go!

In addition to the two battery options the eQuinox has two additional, fully functional power options. The first is the AC power supply, which simply plugs into a wall outlet and is usually the most common way to charge the eQuinox. The second option is perfect while on the road or if charging slipped your mind, the DC power supply will power and charge the eQuinox on all pulse settings but will only charge the battery up to 2 LPM continuous. When on a continuous setting of 3 the unit will only be powered by the DC supply but not charged.

The SeQual eQuinox has the ability to keep up with all of life's demands no matter if you sleeping, relaxing, eating, or exercising, the eQuinox will keep up with all of your varying breathing patterns to assure you are properly treated throughout the day. If you are a medical oxygen patient who needs both a continuous and pulse dose flow portable oxygen concentrator but do not want to be restricted and weighed down, then I urge you to check out the the lightest continuous flow portable oxygen concentrator on the market, the SeQual eQuinox!
