A portable oxygen concentrator can add so much to both your lifestyle and mobility, as well as your physical and mental health! An aptly named company called, Lifestyle Mobility Aids, has created the Rhythm Portable Oxygen Concentrator  with an active oxygen patient’s needs in mind. Traveling, living independently, attending special family events, and doing all the things you’ve always wanted to, can all happen without the worry of running out of oxygen.

Stay Active Without Contributing to Fatigue

Excessive fatigue is often a daily battle for those who struggle with low oxygen saturation. Toting heavy items or bearing weight on your shoulder can make it worse. You won’t have to worry about this with The Rhythm though. This small wonder is just 6 inches high. That’s just barely the length of a dollar bill and is actually smaller than some cell phones!

The Rhythm weighs in at just over 4 pounds which is lighter than your average portable laptop. It comes with a convenient carrying case with a comfortable shoulder strap to keep the unit protected from damage and make it easy to carry with you throughout your day.

And even though this concentrator can fit neatly on one hand, it is huge on performance!

Small in Stature - Big on Performance!

It provides pulse settings from 1 to 5 which is more than enough to accommodate the medical needs of most respiratory patients.

Lead an Active and Independent Life with No Worries!

Whether enjoying a flight across the country, a road trip to visit family, or spending a day out running errands, you won’t have to worry about running out of oxygen with The Rhythm’s lengthy battery life.

Many factors can affect oxygen concentrator battery life. Concentrator battery life depends upon the setting of the machine and how rapidly you’re breathing. Even air temperature can alter battery longevity.  But taking these factors into consideration the Rhythm can provide up to 4 hours of battery life on a setting of 2. The Rhythm also comes with an A/C power supply that plugs into your standard wall outlet.

Your 24/7 Oxygen Solution

The Rhythm is designed to be used 24/7, or as prescribed by your physician. Pulse flow machines, such as the Rhythm, are activated when they sense that you are inhaling.  As we drift off to sleep our breathing naturally becomes slower and shallower and we tend to more often breathe through our mouths, instead of our nozes. If the Rhythm doesn’t sense a breath either because you’re breathing too shallow or are breathing through your mouth, its intelligent delivery technology will enter into auto pulse mode. The machine will begin to automatically release oxygen to ensure that you stay properly titrated.

The Rhythm is State of the Art but also Easy to Use

Rhythm Control Panel

The information screen is easy to see both in bright sunlight and dim light. It clearly indicates what setting you’re on as well as battery status.

Simply depress the large plus and minus buttons to increase or decrease the flow settings from one to five. The battery indicator shows both the percentage of battery life left as well as estimated time left, based upon the setting that you are currently on.

The indicator screen will also alert you to any malfunctions or errors that may have occurred and in most cases advise you on what action to take to rectify the situation.

In addition to the visual error indicator, a yellow warning light will come on, and an electronic alarm will sound. We recommend that you keep the alarm on so that you will know right away if there is a problem but if you are somewhere where you don’t want the alarm sounding, you can press the silent button to turn it off.

You’re Not Alone!

If an error or service message does appear, you won’t have to worry about figuring out what to do on your own. Each machine you purchase from us comes with free lifetime phone tech support. The setting button takes you into information screens that you may need to look at if you ever need support for your machine. Those screens tell you such things as, how much sieve bed life you have used, battery temperature, device runtime and software version information. Your user manual has a clear table about actions to take for each warning but if you are unsure, simply call our toll free number and a tech support operator will walk you through troubleshooting and appropriate actions to take.
