The Oxlife Independence features a unique, user-friendly design with a hard-bodied shell that protects against everyday wear and tear, accidental bumps, and even pets or grandchildren. The most unique feature is the integrated travel cart—most continuous flow portables must be secured to a cart, but the Oxlife's integrated cart provides seamless transitions from storing to using. The folding handle allows you to have it ready to store or use in seconds. The large wheels make it easy to maneuver in crowds, around your house, and while exercising, and they handle curbs, stairs, and puddles with ease. The wheels are also replaceable.

Battery life is one of the most important features in a portable oxygen concentrator. The Oxlife Independence can operate using one or two batteries and delivers great battery life for a continuous flow machine. With one battery on pulse setting 2: up to 3.0 hours; on continuous 2 LPM: up to 1.25 hours. With two batteries on pulse setting 2: up to 5.75 hours; on continuous 2 LPM: up to 2.5 hours. The AC power supply recharges one or two batteries in your machine on any setting. The DC power supply powers your concentrator on all settings but only recharges batteries on pulse ≤4 or continuous ≤2.0 LPM. The optional external battery charger lets you recharge one battery at a time without plugging in your concentrator.
